The model of dam can simplify the hub layout, speed up the construction schedule, reduce the project cost. With the continuous development of rolling technology and perfect at present, the new kind of dam is becoming a highly competitive type.With several domestic projects completed at the same time, the domestic research has also been more and more attention on it. Because of overflow concrete face rockfill dam is not widely applied in our country, this paper focus on the key and difficult technical problem of crest overflow of overflow concrete face rockfill dam, the conclusions obtained in this paper is mainly as follows: Through stability analysis and calculation for the base plate, thickness of on the the base plate to the influence of anti-sliding stability safety factor can be ignored, As the flow velocity of drainaged water increases gradually, the effect of fluctuating pressure and drag force to the against sliding is larger; length of horizontal resistance board and the anchor bar.had a greater influence to safety factor. The calculation results with smooth type and stepped spillway in frequency domain analysis of the available: ① Nomatter what kind of discharge, the vibration frequency of base plate decreases with the increase of flow velocity, increases with increases of the elastic modulus, decreases with increasing the thickness of stone pile body;②The vibration frequency of two kinds of discharge water have same variation rule, the only difference is the change rangeability in size.
