II II Abstract A problem about Frobenius’ theorem A problem about Frobenius’ theorem Abstract Let G be a finite group and e a positive integer dividing |G|, the order of G. We define Le(G) = {x ∈ G | xe = 1}, and k(G) = max { k | |Le(G)| = k · e, ?e | |G|}. Frobenius proved that for any positive integer e, there exists a positive integer k such that |Le(G)| = k · e. Since then, he conjectured that if |Le(G)| = e, namely, k(G) = 1, then Le(G) is normal subgroup of G. In [5] and [12], Mengwei and Shi jiangtao classified the finite group G in the case where k(G) = 2 and 3 . Jiang liyuan gave the
