Lukacs’S Lukacs’S Ontology of Social Existence Marxist Philosophy Liu Zhuo Hong Ye Ruxian ABSTRACT Starting from the contemporary development of Marxist philosophy,in this dissertation．1 will try to make a real and comprehensive study of lukacs’S ontology of social existence，and to grasp the essence of it．Also 1 will fix ontology’S position in Marxist philosophy,and draw a conclusion about the relationship between lukacs’S ontology of social existence and Marx’S philosophy，thus opening up a new field for the study of contemporary Marxist philosophy． First，standing on the history of ontology,1 will trace the path of change of western ontology,and state the distinguishing features of Marxist onto logy．Through the knowledge of the trends of ontology in history of western philosophy,1 will reveal the scientific and axiological qualities of ontology,and state that Marx’S historical ontology brought the change of philosophy thinking modes in ontology．Also 1 will talk about the histofical necessity for lukacs to study ontology of social existence． Second，1 will expound the meanings，functions， and significance of labor,the core of social existence．a)Proposing the concept of labor overcomes the defects of the early theory of practice，and lays a scientific foundation for that theory．b)Labor shows the unity of natural causation and social teleology．This is the essence of labor．C)Labor is the only basis for the existence and development of human society, and the prerequisite for knowing social laws．Thus，labor has the meaning of noumenon． Third，1 will reveal lukacs’S new ideals on the whole stipulation of ontology of social existence．Social existence fully shows the relationship between man and nature， and the unity of society and nature．The relationship between man and nature，and II human human relationship based on labor shows the whole feature of social existence． Fourth，1 will state that when lukacs tried to reconstruct modem ontology,he inherited Marx’S historical princ
