StudyontheRhymingofDrama “New Compilationof MulianSavinghisMotherandPersuasinggood” Abstact The drama Mulian( 目連) is a living fossil of our traditional opera,The Drama “New Compilation Mulian Saves his Mother and Persuases to be good ”edited b Zheng Zhizhen is aprecious research materials now.Base on the investigation of its 959 drama tune,103 spoken parts,and the analysis of their rhymed words.We have summarized the rhyme system of the New Mulian.Besides,we make a detailed analysis for the phonetics phenomenon of the rhyme,in order to find the Drama Mulian’srhymingFeature. Afther sortoutthematerials,it summarizes 15rhymeclassesofTheDramaNew Mulianasfollows:8classesof“Yinrhyme”:Ge-Ge( ),Zhi-Wei ,Xiao-Hao 歌戈 （支微） （蕭豪）,Jie-Lai（皆來）,Yu-Mo（魚模）,Che-Zhe（車遮）,Jia-Ma（家麻）,You-Hou （尤侯）;7classesof“Yangrhyme”:Xian-Tian（先天）,Han-Shan （寒山）,Qin-Xun （侵尋）,Zhen-Wen（真文）,Jiang-Yang（江阳）,dong-zhong,geng-qing.THEspecial rhymephenomena ofMulianandthepolyphone canbe consideredfromtwo aspects: ontheonehand ,the reflecttheemergingtrendoftheMING( )’sphonetics ,onthe 明 otherhand the reflectthecommonfeatureofHuizhoudialects.Besides,westud the ， rhymeofdramaMulianintodiachronicandsynchronicperspectives.
