浙江大学硕士学位论文 浙江大学硕士学位论文 联合体:我国饭店业集团化发展模式探索 ABSTRACT The thesis aims at making an analytical research on hotel consortia The author gives an expatiation and review of the prevailing theories on hotel consortia,covering such areas as concept,functions,necessity,and terms of SUCCESS of this form of business operation With an objective discussion on the present situation of the hotel industry in China,the author points out that collectivization is a shortcut tO raise the overall competitiveness of hotels in the country,especially the state—owned independent hotels,and that hotel consortium is one of the possible choices tO reach such collectivization The author men studies the structure and operational principles of hotel consortia and advances a feasible model for the development ofhotel consortia in China The empirical StUdy comprises two parts The first part is the analysis of the information generated by a questionnaire investigation which was done to unclose the real conditions for the Success of hotel consortia;in the second part,the author makes case studies He compares and contrasts representative hotel consortia inside and outside of China Credit Card Hotels Sales Network Association in China and Lading hotels ofthe World The result of empirical study shows that hotel consortia should be pullulated vigorously in China,and that to be a greater Success,hotel consortia should strengthen their ability on learn while at the same time enhance the product uniformity of member hotels within a consortium. Based upon the foregoing research,the thesis comes to the conclusion that hotel consortium is a major direction for the hospitality enterprises in China to achieve their consolidation The thesis ends with ideas 0n feasible structure and operational pl‘inciples of hotel consortia in China.
