Methods sixty-six cases of severe COPD were divided into two groups? One group was treated by drugs(control group), the other group were treated by noninvasive ventilation and the drugs(experiment group). The comparison was made on the changes of PH , PaO2 , PaCO2 in the arterial blood gas before and after the treatment between the two groups. And also the changes of FEV1% and PEF in pulm on ary function before and after treatme nt and between the two groups? Results Significant differences were found in the experiment group of the improvement of PH and PaO2 FEV1% and PEF in pulmnary function and the decreased value of PaCO2 before and after the treatment, compared with the control group(P0.05).
