Research on the internationalization of private enterprises in shanxi Abstract With the formation of economic globalization, the modern enterprises are developing rapidly worldwide. The development level has become one of the most important symbols to judge the modernization level of a country or region and the comprehensive national strength. In recent years, the enterprises in Shanxi especially private enterprises have adapted to the changing times, and the internationalization of enterprises has been rapidly developed, but the development level is still primary, such as problems existed as following: lack of the technological innovation ability, the scale engaged in the international operation is still small, the product variety is unitary, the producing capacity and the intensive level are relatively low. In the condition of the developing enterprises, how the private enterprises of Shanxi to give full play to its advantages, to grasp the opportunities of various developments, and to explore its own development path of internationalization have become a topic of great practical significance in the area of economics and management. This paper defined the concept of private enterprises based on the internationalization of private enterprises in Shanxi as the research subject, , and analysis the status and characteristics of private enterprises of Shanxi based on the enterprise internationalization theory. Secondly, the paper construct an index system for the two dimensions of the inward and outward internationalization, establishing the cobweb model of a region, by mean of measuring the internationalization degree of private enterprises in Shanxi utilized the quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of the measurements show that the internationalization of private enterprises in Shanxi started lately, and both inward and outward internationalization level are relatively low.
