The progress and perspectives of proteomics in China

Abstract: Proteomics is a science which globally studies on a complete understanding of proteome in the molecule
machineries, organelles, cells, tissues, organs or intact organisms. It has been becoming the focus of life
sciences and the cutting-edged technique in biotechnologies in the 21st century. We briefly introduced the
background and an overview on the progress, problems and perspectives of proteomics in China.
