Simultaneously Hegel’s philosophy of right is also the part which causes more misunderstands and argues in his philosophy theory. This article tries to take the development of the free will as the clue to explain this work, makes the people understand the concealing liberalism spirit under his national idea supreme principle. The free will is the starting point and the home of Hegel’s Philosophy of right, and “the free will” is the main line of his entire philosophy system, just as what he has said: “The law is the embodiment of the free will”. In Hegels other works, he has elaborated on the free will from different angles, different aspects, but in “Philosophy of Right he explains his free will theory from societys angle intently and systematically. The entire content that this book describes is how the free will has been realized as well as to be developed in society. Therefore this involves the questions of the law、the morals and the country in society fields. But regardless of what questions to be involved, Hegel starts from the persons free will, and therefore we can say the free will is the theme of “Philosophy of Right”. Hegel’s concept of liberty realizes a historical and epochal synthesis; he delineates it as the dialectical development of the links in the concept. Hegel expounds the unification process of the free will through the discussion of the abstract law、 the morals and the ethics from objectiveness, subjectiveness to the unification of the two. He looks on this kind of harmony of individual、the family、the civil society and the country which achieved in the foundation of modern law as the true、concrete freedom. The process of evolving from “family”, via “civil society”, to “country” embodies the development of t
