II II Abstract In modern China, traditional Chinese society and Chinese Culture encountered the enormous impact of Western civilization; therefore many advanced Chinese people began to think about the outlet of Chinese society. Focusing on this kind of history subject, Intellectual community sets off a discussion about “Ancient or modern Chinese and Western”, and no doubt Feng You-lan was the most important philosopher and historian of philosophy in 20th century. Feng You-lan discussed this cultural question around philosophy and history of philosophy, and he put forward a set of his own unique answer to this problome. Feng You-lan meaned the philosophy in the light of life. He studied western rational analyses and realism spirit, and did not give up the“Jing-jie”of life of Neo-confucianism which belong Chinese philosophy. Thence, Feng You-lan built a system of New-confucianism that was a kind of philosophy of life, and its function was to raise the “Jing-jie”of life. New-confucianism system begins from New Li-Xue. New Li-Xue used Metaphysical way when it deals with philosophy, that is , New Li-Xue devotes itself to the most pure philosophy. In New Li-Xue, Feng You-lan built Metaphysics of pure philosophy by logical approach of Western Realism. The four concepts — “Li”, “Qi”, “Dao-Ti” and “Da-Quan”— form the philosophy “Jing-jie”of dense. But this philosophy“Jing-jie” is not “Dao De Jing-jie”, and it also is not ethics “Tian Di Jing-jie”. Then, what relations are there between metaphysics and the “Jing-Jie” in Feng You-lan’s New-confucianism，or， how does this kind of philosophy state change into the“Tian Di Jing-jie”? The“Jing-jie” in New-confucianism focuses on “Jue-Jie”. In the theory of “Jing-jie” in New-confucianism, there are two kinds of “Jue-jue”. First, “metaphysical” way; second, “physical” way, they are united in the theory of “Jing-jie”. People in “Dao De Jing-jie”have some “Jue-Jie” about human nature. The “Jue-Jie” means both metaphysics and physics.
