万方数据 万方数据 摘 要 兰州居襟喉之地，控河为险，自筑城以来一直是兵家必争之地，遂为历代政 府所重视。兰州城历经千载的经营，到清末时，城郭规模已达到建城以来最为完 备的形制。民国时期，随着社会近代化进程的不断推进，兰州城市不仅在空间结 构和城市功能方面产生了深刻变化，同时城市社会生活的方方面面也展现出史无 前例的变化。兰州正式设市和抗战的爆发是其城市快速发展的又一次机遇期，经 过这一短暂的发展期，兰州城市的近代化水平又上了一个新台阶。 本文共分为四个章节，文章的核心是对民国时期兰州城市空间演变与城市社 会发展进行分析，并尝试着对它们之间的关系予以探讨。在各章节中，第一章首 先从自然环境因素和气候特征角度入手，对兰州城地理环境予以直观描述。第二 章主要回顾了中华民国之前兰州城的建城、迁城和拓城的历程。其中又对距离民 国较近的清代发展做以简析。通过对中华民国建立之初城市发展的历时分析，为 民国时期兰州城市发展的解读进行铺陈。第三章立足于民国时期，重点从兰州城 市空间的构成要素入手谈变迁，并从城市社会发展中的新气象来印证城市的变迁 和发展。第四章旨在探讨和揭示兰州城市空间变迁与社会发展之间的关系，并对 促成这种发展变化的原因进行一定的综合分析。最终希望能够还兰州城市发展以 历史全貌。 关键字：兰州，民国，城市空间，变迁，社会发展 I Abstract Lanzhou is located at the spot where is as the strategic passage by adjoining the natural defense of the Yellow River. It’s always as a place contested by all strategists since the city had been established, and every Chinese ancient government attached great importance to it. To the end of the Q ing Dynasty, the city size had reached the perfect form after more than two thousand years of elaboration since the fo undation. During period of the Republic of China (1912-1949), the process of social modernize had been continuously advanced. Such profound changes had been taken place in the city not only on urban structure and function, but also on every aspect of urban social life. It would be another development period of opportunity that was as Lanzhou city officially established and outbreak of the anti-Japanese War. After this short development period, the urban modernize of Lanzhou was carried to a new stage. The thesis involves four chapters. It will mainly focus on the analysis of urban space evolution and social development of Lanzhou during the period of the Republic of China. What’s more, I’ll try to discuss their relationship. Among the chapters, the opening chapter describes the geographic environment of Lanzhou from the point of view of environmental factors and climate.
