This study aimed to investigate the application of prostate scaffold for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia. We confirmed that prostate resection via urethra is still the gold standard for treating prostatic hyperplasia. However, the operation can induce many complications. Prostate scaffold has been determined as one of ideal therapeutic methods to treat prostatic hyperplasia, because the scaffold is safe and effective.
