The course of 《Continuum Mechanics I》is the first part of 《Continuum Mechanics》. The course including :Tensor analyse. Tensor referred as objects in physics or math, can reflect the physical and geometrical attribute of these objects sufficiently. Using tensor gives great advantage to the research. And it has got extensively use in Continuum Mechanics. This part including: The indicial notation, tensor, tensor analyse, Curvilinear coordinate system. Deformation and kinematics. The geometry character of deformation, including motion, construction, the gradient of deformation, strain tensor, the basic theorem of deformation, Polar Decomposition theorem. Motion theory for continuum, which study the time differential coefficient of some physical quantity, including gradient of velocity, velocity of deformation and velocity of rotation .etc. Stress tensor, motion equations and integral theorem. Including stress vector, stress tensor, the symmetry of stress tensor, principal stresses, the maximum shearing stress, motion equation, motion equation in curvilinear coordinate system, energy equation, entropy inequality and integral theorem The flow
