Based on the reference of the ecological impact assessment of construction projects at home and abroad, first of all, this paper expounded the connotation of the ecological environment impact assessmen and clear the basic principles, evaluation basisi, evaluation scope, evaluation standards and evaluation key of ecological environmental impact assessment 。Secondly, discussed the ecological environment impact assessment method, and analyzed the methords of present situation investigation and evaluation, impact prediction and evaluation and protection measures of ecological environment combined with the characteristics of railway construction projects .
