Teaching Procedures :
Step I Warming up
The teacher will play a clip of video and introduce the topic of this unit. And then the teacher will make the students to do a matching exercise.
Step II Fast Reading
In this part the teacher will ask the students to skim the whole passage quickly find out all the questions that ZY asked and underline them. And then the students will be asked to finished Task 1 on their hand-outs.
Task 1: Skimming
Find out the seven questions asked by Zhou Yang. And try to divide the passage into three sections according to the tips.
Section1 (Question _________): Preparation before an interview
Section 2 (Question _________): How to get an accurate story
Section 3 (Question _________): How to protect a story from accusations
Step II Extensive Reading
In this part, the teacher will give the students 6 min’ to go through the passage again, and try to finish Task23. The exercise of this part aims to make the students understand the content of the passage.
Task 2: Reading Comprehension
Read the whole passage and then try to finish the following questions.
