The kids are about 9-10 years old. They can use simple English. According to the children’s psychological characteristics, they are full of energy and curiosity. They are eager to compete with others and they love playing games. On the other hand, they are interested in English and confident in showing themselves.
教材分析
Analysis on teaching material
The topic of this unit is talking about food and eating. According to the course syllabus, the main purpose of this class lies in helping children to review through playing different games.
Key vocabulary: bread, juice, egg, milk, water, cake, fish, rice, etc..
Key structure: I’d like some…, please. Can I have some…, please? Have some… Here you are.

以学生听、说、读、写、练贯穿整课,在游戏中在竞赛中复习,老师只是充当一个教练员的角色,把竞争机制引入课堂,努力倡导学生积极参与。根据学生不同的基础和学习情况设计不同难度的教学任务,这样既能面向全体学生、以学生作为主体,又尊重了学生的个体差异,能最大地满足不同程度学生的学习需要。倡导自主、合作的学习方式,设计的游戏任务围绕听、说、读、写、练,由浅入深,由易到难,循序渐进,让学生在学习过程中不仅能提高英语的综合能力,而且能通过感知、体验、参与等方式完成任务和实现目标。
