Step1.Warming up and leading in
Every day we must use a lot of things ,such as our school things 、our clothes and so on .Do you really know them ? Can you tell me what these things are made of? And where are they made?
Show a shirt to the students and ask:
T: What are they?
Ss: They are shirts.
T: What are they made of?
Help the students to answer: They are made of cotton.
Step2. Presentation
In small groups , ask the students to learn the new words by themselves.
Show some pictures to the students to check what they preview.
Practice
Talk about the materials and producting areas.
Point to a ruler ,ask and answer
T: What is it ?
Ss : It’s a ruler.
T: What is it made of?
Ss: It’s made of plastic.
T: Where is it made?
Ss: It’s made in China .
Talk about a piece of paper and say:
T: It’s a piece of paper, what is it made from?
Ss: It’s made from wood.
T: Where is it made?
Ss: It’s made in China .
Groupwork
In small groups ,talk about the things that the students use to master the sentence structure.
Explanation

In small groups to talk about 1a ,then check the answers.
