Check the new words. Ask some questions What do you like to eat? 设计意图：先进行单词复习，为下一步教学打基础。另外 提问进行新课的引入。 Step2 Pre-reading Show some questions about shark fins and ask some questions. Have you heard of “ shark fin”?Have you eaten it ?What do you think of it? Do you know how to make it? Enjoy a movie about protecting the shark. 设计意图：通过对学生们感兴趣的问题进行击趣引入，并且用相关影像是学生们产生进一步了解欲望，进而引出阅读内容。 Step 3 While-reading Ask students to draw a shark . Scanning:Match each paragraph with main ideas.
