ABSTRACT The enterprise logistics management using the barcode technology, computer technology and communication technology is the important method for reducing the enterprise costs, increasing productivity and enhancing the management level. For the logistics management requirements in the cigarette product line of a cigarette factory, the logistics digital barcode remote monitoring system based on barcode technology, computer technology and communication technology is be developed for detecting, tracing, getting statistics and querying the cigarettes barcode data, assuring the product in stock coordinating with the product outflow. This logistics digital barcode remote monitoring system detects and collects the cigarettes barcode information in the product line by the detector, send the read data to the computer. The program in the control computer receives the data, then interprets the data and detects the cigarettes type. The cigarettes type data can be saved, analyzed, got statistics, queried and reported. Also, the cigarettes can be displayed in the manufacture spot and warehouse by the dual display. The contents of this paper are included: ① Analyze the usage and function of the barcode technology for cigarette warehouse management. This technology has the characteristics of efficient logistics management, saving time and accurate, is the important method for increasing productivity and enhancing the management level. ② On the basis of overall analysis, summary and contrast various coding, decoding technology, and the principle, technology characteristics of related detecting equipment, the select of detecting equipment of this system is finished.
