Scene 1 Art Class 参演人员( Trudy; Rob; Lisa; Mrs. Weston; Narrator；the other two students; bookstand) Begin: Narrator: Trudy Hubble has elbows that stuck out and knocked things over. Her hands were large and clumsy. Her feet were so big she was always tripping over things. At the same time, Trudy Hubble comes in （clumsily, head down, elbows stuck out, be careful not to be tripped over.） Rob: Look out, here comes Trouble!” (Laugh) The other kids all looked at Trudy, laughing! Trudy’s head goes lower, and goes to her seat clumsily. Mrs. Weston: Sit down, Trudy. Let Lisa bring you a water Jar and some paints. And don’t move out of your seat unless you must. Trudy sits down in silence. Narrator: Lisa fetched paper and paint and brushes. She put them on the table. Next, she filled a jar with water and took that to Trudy. Before she sat down she moved her chair as far away from Trudy as possible. (Lisa acts as the narrator says.) Trudy (stare at Lisa) says to herself: How I wish I could be more like Lisa. She never knocked things over. She had small hands and feet and wavy brown hair. Mrs. Weston: Now today, I’d like you to paint me a monster. The scariest monster you can think of. All kids: Oh, great! Narrator: Trudy reached out to dip her brush in some black paint. But she knocked over the jam jar. Water spread and drown Lisa’s dragon. (Trudy acts as the narrator says.) Trudy (mutter): Oops, sorry! Lisa (stare down at her soggy picture with tears): Oh, my picture! Rob (come over): hey, Mrs. Weston! Come and see what Trudy done now. Trudy (face goes red, muttered): I’ll get a cloth. Narrator: Trudy jumped to the feet, the chair fell over backwards. Trudy turned round and her paintbrush caught Rob across the face. It gave him a droopy black moustache. (Rob: Oh, my face!) Rob staggered back against a wire bookstand. The bookstand came crashing down and books went all over the floor.
