Learning aims:
1、 Ss can ask about prices
A: How much is the white bag? B: It’s seventeen dollars.
A: How much are these socks? B: They’re two dollars.
2、 Ss can talk about clothing
A: What color do you want? B: Blue.
I like big purple hats.
I like those long blue and yellow socks.
Learning strategies:
Help Ss can predict the main idea of the passage by looking at the title and the pictures.
Culture:
Help Ss understand the shopping manners.
(Offer help) A: Can I help you ? B: Blue.
(Thank someone) A: Thank you. B: You’re welcome.
Teaching procedures:

Guessing game :
The teacher shows the picture on page 37.Help Ss predict the topic of unit7.Ask Ss: Where shall we go ? What are we going to talk about? Then lead in the theme“Shopping”

At last, let Ss work in pairs make the conversations. Focus on the key words.
