Employ words and sentences to describe weather. 2. Describe activities of others correctly by using the Present Progressive Tense. 3. Understand listening materials about weather. 4. Write a short passage to describe weather and activities according to tips given. II. Focal difficult points: 1. Teaching methods: In order to achieve teaching objectives, Task-based Language Teaching Approach and Guided-discovery method are employed. IV. Teaching aids: PPT, multi-media, paper, ink pens and so on. V. Teaching procedures: This lesson is mainly about a review game(competition),students compete to finish exercises about language points in this unit. There are 8 groups, every group chooses a part and a mark about this unit, if they are right, they will get double marks. Otherwise they will waste double marks. More rules are as follows: 1. 6 students in every group, 8 groups in all. Every group chooses a part and a mark about this unit, if they are right, they will get double marks. As for the other groups, their marks are the same as the exercise. 2. 6 students in every group, one of them write or show answers, two of them guarantee group members participate in discussion. Another two are voice controller, the last one keep eye on marks they got., 3. When time is up, every group should show their answers, or they get zero. Blurred answer is just the same. 4. Marks stand in the first three will get a prize. While finishing exercise, members speak loudly or cheat, this group loses chance of showing answers. That’s
