人教版七年级英语下Unit 9: What does he look like? 教学设计 Period 1 Section A 1a-1c 一、教学目标 1、掌握本课时的单词和句型,会谈论人的身高、体重、发型特征; 1)单词:hair, curly, straight, height, tall, medium, thin, heavy, build. 2)句型:---What does he/she look like? --- He /she is tall/short/of medium height /heavy/thin /of medium build. He/She has long/short/curly/straight hair. 2、能友好地谈论别人的外貌,不以貌取人。 二、教学重难点 掌握怎样用本课新单词、句型来描述一个人的外貌的方法。 掌握正确运用have动词和be动词的描述人物外貌的方法。 三、教学准备:录音机、电脑 四、自主学习方案 1、在教师的辅导下读认生词。 2、预习课本,找出重点短语及句子。 3、读记后尝试完成自学导练作业。 五、教学过程 Step 1 Warm-up and lead-in Daily greeting to the students 2、Show a picture of a person T:Do you know how to describe the person’s appearance?Can you say it in English?After this lesson,you can do it,and let’s learn together. Step 2 Presentation and practice 通过看图说话的形式,向学生呈现一些名人的图片,教师通过What does he/she look like?句型的提问,引导学生通过身高、体格、头发等方面描述外貌,小组活动反复练习。 Present the new language 1 . T:What does he look like?
