He separated her from the men with which she may fall in love. Therefore, she had no one but her father to communicate with, which is a pretty strange thing for a young lady in her age. In this condition, Emily was extremely difficult to form a healthy personality. It’s obvious that Emily’s father failed in teaching her how to love in a proper way. Emily was just fettered. Then she did the same thing as her father. She refused to accept the fact that her father had already died.
