II. The analysis of students: The students in Grade 6 have learned English more than three years. They have got some knowledges and abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To improve their English, we should encourage them speak more.

(1)Master the phrases: reading stories, singing songs, doing kungfu
(2)Master the sentences: He likes doing kungfu.
2. Ability objectives:
(1)Be able to listen, speak, read, write the phrases: reading stories, doing kung fu, singing songs.
(2)Be able to understand the sentences: He likes doing kung fu. Use this sentence in a real situation.
(3)Improve their communicative ability.
3. Emotion objectives:
(1)Students can work together and help each other.
(2)Students can have a successful feeling.

1. Key points: Students understand the sentence: He likes doing kung fu. Students can use this sentence in a real situation.
2. Difficult points: Students master “sb. likes doing sth.”

Step 3: Presentation
1. I like reading stories. What’s your hobby?
Pair work: Ask and answer.
Some students stand up, ask and answer.
Then teacher asks: What’s his/her hobby?
2. Show some pictures, teach “I like doing sth.” Then “He likes doing sth.”
3. Read and find. Show some sentences, students read the sentences and find the differences.
4. Show a photo of a girl
