Teaching aims : new words : Munich, Germany, Alaska, sled, fast, ferry, Papa Westray , Target language: ------How do you go to school ? -------I go to school to school on foot /by bike/… You must stop at a red light. Don’t go at a red light. Teaching importances and difficulties: Discuss different ways to go to school. The names of places:Munich ,Munich,Germany, Alaska,Papa Westray, Teaching methods: listening, watching and speaking. Teaching tools: a projector , powerpoint, a tape recorder. Teahing steps: Step 1.Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m your new teacher. I,m Miss He. Nice to meet you ! Ss: Nice to meet you ,too! Step 2 .Revision Listen to a song about how to go to school. Talk about our ways to go to school. T: How do you go to school? Ss: I go to school by/on… Step 3 Presentation 1.T: I go to school by bike. But today I went on foot .Because the bike didn’t work .Explain : went, didn’t work . ( show a picture ) 2. Let’s do a free talk . How many ways can you think of to go to school? What are they?
