?“The school bell is ringing. Yes, you are late,” said Mother.
?John went to school. Mrs. Gator saw him at the door.
?“John, you are late. Will you try to get to school on time?” she said.
?“ I’ll try, Mrs. Gator, ” said John.
?Max said, “You don’t get up on time. You have to try.”
?John said, “I know. I try. But I like to sleep in the morning.”
?“John, you have to get up on time!” said Max.

?It was morning, but John didn’t get up on time. He went back to sleep.
