Abstract Five years vocational students are a special group in the college students,their special characteritics in age ,physiology and psychology are different with other commom undergraduate studends among the adolescent.In recent years,with the development of positive psychology,more and more psychologist began to pay attention to the positive characters of people,and at the same time,they always did many research on interrelated study.And the positive character includes the hope,positive way of coping and subjective well-being .There are many researchs on the relantionship between way of coping and subjective well -being,whereas the researchs on the relationship between hopo,way of hoping and subjective well-being are few,especially for the five years vocational student. The samples of this study are taken randomly from three college 353students in Jiaozuo university,Jiaozuo Finace School and Jiaozuo Broadcast School,and the rasearch on the relationship between hopo,way of coping and subjective well-being are taken by questionnaire and visitation. It adopts the adult dispositional hope scale,the simplified coping style questionnaire and index of well-being.The results show that: 1.No significant difference between male and female group of the five years vocational student on the general level of hope and its two dimensionality. No significant difference between different residence group on the general level of hope and its two dimensionality. 2.One-child group of the five years vocational student have significant difference on the genera
