Abstract:P ant introduction and acc im atization is a branch of botany ,c o se to ex-situ and oca economic construction
and be ong s to the basic uses research area.Up to today, its theories and methods,c ear y criterions for achieving suc-
cess in p ant introduction and acc imatization has not been fu y and sy stematica y researched.In this present paper,
the concepts and importance,m ain theories and m ethods,factors affecting success, approaches and procedures,criteri-
ons for achiev ing success in p ant int roduction and acc imatization were summarized and ex p ored, and an out ook of
p ant introduction and acc im atization w as a so given .
