It’s hard sometimes to talk about the future. 此句子句型为“It’s + adj.+ to do sth.”表示“做……事情是……”。 it为形式主语，真正的主语是后边的不定式短语to do sth.。为了保持句子平衡，动词不定式短语作主语时，常用it作形式主语，而将真正的主语后置。常用句型结构还有“It’s + adj. +for / of sb. to do sth.”当adj.为nice / kind / clever / foolish等修饰人时用“It’s + adj. +of sb. to do sth.”，当adj.为hard / difficult / easy等修饰to do sth.时用“It’s + adj. +for sb. to do sth.”。 Ⅱ. You might be a scientist when you grow up. might 是情态动词，是may的过去式，表示猜测时，可能性比may小。may / might用于肯定或否定陈述句中。表示否定猜测用can’t。must表猜测只用于肯定句，表示肯定的猜测。 eg: It may rain this afternoon.(下雨的可能性较大) It might rain this afternoon. (下雨的可能性相对较小) Ⅲ. I’m not sure I can be a scientist. Sb. be sure + that从句的意思是“认为……一定……”。连词that可以省略，be sure后面还可以接由whether，where，when或 who等引导的名词性从句，这时，主句通常是否定形式。否定式是“Sb. be not sure +疑问词引导的从句。” eg: I’m not sure when he’ll come here.
