The main obj ective of this paper is to act a new statistical approach , which can improve the disadvantages in the evaluation of students ’performance . The numerical example is based on the performance of several students who come from Longyan No . 1 Senior high school . Useful information can be obtained through statistical analysis so as to help improve the performance of students in the future . The analysis results can also be of great help to teachers in their future teaching career . Finally , suggestions are given to revise the format of score sheet recording table so as to include more useful information . Specifically
