(4)it作形式宾语的宾语从句 ①动词find, feel, think, consider, make, believe等后面有宾语补足语时, 需用it作形式宾语而将that引导的宾语从句后置。 *Our school has made it a rule that every student shall wear uniform(s) at school. *I think it necessary that we drink plenty of boiled water every day. ②一些动词短语see to, depend on, rely on等常用it作形式宾语, 而将宾语从句后置。 *You will see to it that your methods are ideal. 2. whether与if引导的名词性从句 (1)引导主语从句、表语从句、同位语从句时一般用whether, 不用if。 *Whether the plan is practical remains to be proved. *The point is whether we should lend him the money. (2)whether与if引导宾语从句时大多数情况下可以互换, 但下列情况下宜用whether: ①后面直接跟or not时用whether *I don’t know whether or not the report is true. ②用于介词后引导宾语从句时用whether *It depends on whether we have enough time. 【点津】doubt后接宾语从句时, 如果用于肯定句, 从句的引导词用whether或if; 用于否定句或疑问句时, 从句的引导词常用that。 *The doctor really doubts whether my mother will recover from the serious disease soon. *Never once did I doubt that I would be able to carry out my plan. 【题组训练】单句语法填空 1.
