Th amount of urban workers and residents who participat in basic medical insuranc can nearly reach 200000, occupying mor than 36 ％ of th total population in Wendeng. In recent years, Wendeng health insuranc institutions, taking th insured as the main body, have actively carried out health interventions and systematic health management, which enabl th fund payment of health insuranc gradually shift from treatment to prevention, and the key work of basic medical insurance has achieved a strategic transformation, which obtains good results. Ⅱ．Basic approaches In recent years, w hav kept carrying out th fr health checkup for th high- risk group who have participated in the medical insurance; we have widely held health education seminars, on-sit consultativ m tings and distributed leaflets; w hav conducted propaganda about the health education to the insured through various of m tings, handling insurance matters, settling medical expenses and coping with the retirement, which helps to strengthen the insured’s health interventions , raise their health awareness and better improv their behavior to k p healthy.
