I.Analysis of the Teaching Material
The topic of this unit is “welcome back to school”,which is tightly related to the students’ daily life.This lesson focuses on the usages of sentences“Where are you from? I’m from...”.After this class, students will be able to communicate using the key sentences.
II.Analysis of the students
The students of Grade 3 are active in class,they are familiar with the topic.So it’s important for me to create a real scene and design tasks to help them master the key sentences .
III. Teaching objectives
Language knowledge objectives
a.Students will be able to understand the key sentences .
b. Students will be able to say related something using the key sentences in right situations.
Language skill objectives
a. Students will be able to read the talk and fill in the unfinished sentences.
b.Students will be able to make dialogues and make club cards.

a.Students will love to share personal information with other students.
b.Students will be able to understand “animals are our friends”.

1.Students can introduce themselves and ask their friends something using the key sentences.

Step1.Pre-task
Greet with students.
Introduce myself by showing some pictures.
Tell students today’s tasks:
a. Know our new friends in ABC club .
b. Introduce ourselves to other club members.
设计意图:轻松愉快的问候,利用交互式白板的翻转图片创设信息沟,猜猜老师来自哪里,为本节课的重点句型打下铺垫。驱动型的任务,不但让学生知道了学习的目标与任务,而且激发了学生学习英语的兴趣与欲望。
