SAFETY OPERATION PROCUDURE OF MILL = 1 \* ROMAN I. The following should be finished before work: Check whether screws of all parts fixed or not, rotation parts blocked/loose or not, especially for big spoon heads, and slurry pumps function properly or not. Check whether back and forth water supply pipelines, cooling water pipelines, feed trough, discharge trough and slurry pipelines flow smoothly or not. Check whether oil volume of any lubrication point of mill and decelerators appropriate or not on each duty and if there are mineral grains or foreign substances existed between small and big gears. Check whether any protection devices in good condition or not, and whether any person or obstacle under or around the mill. Contact the operator of next procedure, send start-up signal and operate in the designated sequence, that is, start the mill, and then slurry pumps, and feed when they reach normal function. = 2 \* ROMAN II. The following should be guaranteed during operation: Never touch, check or clean running components by hand or other tools during mill and slurry in operation; Passing through or working under the running mill or getting into the protective grid are strictly prohibited. Always check whether all operating components closely connected or not, whether liners too loose to leak slurry or not. When it needs stop, the maintenance should be along with reliable safety measures. Always check motors’ operation, and ensure the sound normal, temperature not exceeding 60 degrees Celsius and current maintained at the rated value. Observe whether feeding uniform or not. Idling without feed is strictly prohibited. Operators on each duty should supplement steel balls timely, proportionately and accurately. Observe circulating load and overflow concentration each half to one hour, and adjust them in time when abnormal conditions come into being.
