However, the cost management and control of the current road and bridge project has always been a major problem in the development of the construction industry. In order to optimize the quality of road and bridge construction cost management, the paper puts forward suggestions for strengthening the whole process of project cost management, specifically from the stage of project investment, design, bidding and contract signing, construction and completion, to integrate economy and technology, so as to promote the effective construction process of the road and bridge project achieve maximum economic and social benefits.
