Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. Today we are going to read a story. Please get ready for class. You need the English magazine, English Corner, 2019, Dec. (英语角2019年12月刊). If you don’t have the magazine, you can take photos. (PPT) Are you ready? Let’s start our lesson!
Step1. Pre-reading
1. Enjoy a song “Tail song”

T: What is song about? Yes. It’s about different tails.
Boys and girls, do you have tails? Of course, not. But many animals have tails.
2. Show the title of the story
T: Today we are going to read a story of a tail, the gecko's tail.
