Ss read after the teacher to practice their pronunciation and review the meaning of each word. 帮助学生分清词性、纠正发音，为下文词语运用打下基础。 Step 2 Word transformation T leads ss to discover different forms of the words. Ss fill in the blanks by choosing the correct words. 通过构词法学习扩大学生词汇量，加深学生对于词性的理解，巩固学生对单词的记忆和使用。 Step 3 Meaning of the word Ss match pictures with related words. 利用图片和英英释义，一方面增强课堂趣味性，另一方面，让学生对词汇产生直观的印象，加深学生对单词意义的理解和记忆。 Step 4 Practice and exploration Ss fill in the blank with the words and phrases in their proper forms. Ss read another passage about studying abroad and fill in the blank with the listed words and phrases in their proper forms. 帮助学生进一步理解单词的意义，根据句子的意义，能选择正确的单词及合适的形式完成句子，理解单词在单句中的语用功能。 阅读短文，选择正确的词语填空。训练学生在语境中能否正确使用话题词汇的不同词性及词意，使故事内容完整，学生进一步熟悉与话题相关词汇，并深度理解话题词汇在语境中的语用功能。 Step 5 Word application Ss use imagination to make up a short story about an adventure or an experience by using the words or phrases leaned in this unit. Remember to use at least 2 nouns, 2 verbs or phrases and 1 adjective or adverb. 从所分类的动词中分别提取五个单词，自编小故事.要求学生充分使用想象力，灵活恰当的使用课文中或者已经学过的一些词汇完成小故事创作，培养学生思维创新能力以及语言输出的能力。 Step 6 Homework Ss create a story by using at least 5 given words they learned in this unit. 学生利用本单元单词进行故事创作，巩固本节课所学知识，培养学生思维创新能力和语言输出能力。
