Story telling (Picture 1)Look! What are all the fathers doing? They are playing football. Who is he? He ’ s Chip ’ s Dad. Dad was playing football. (Picture 2)Dad ran with the ball. He ran so fast. “Go on Dad! ” called Chip. “Kick it! ” (教师伴有肢体动作解释 Kick 一词 ) Everybody was excited. (Picture 3 ) But ,suddenly! Everybody was shocked. Can you guess what happened to Dad? (挡住爸爸部分, 让学生预测 ) Dad fell over in the mud. Splat! (配 合动作表情) Oh, in the mud. Dad got muddy.It ’ s so dirty! “Bad luck, Dad!” said Biff. (Picture 4)Dad, Biff and Chip went home. Look at Dad! What was he like? Look at Mum, Was Mum happy? Mum was angry. What would Mum say?“Oh Dad, ” she said. “What a mess!” Dad felt sorry. If you were Dad, what would you do?
