Play a guessing game with the S to lead in the topic of this text: Mr Wind Mr Sun When it blows, Leaves fly From the trees Across the sky. When it blows, Kites fly Rising and diving High in the sky. When it shines, People sweat And go swimming In the sea. When it shines, Bees and butterflies Dance happily Among the flowers. 2. T: Tell the Ss. When we are writing a story, we usually use simple past tense.
