初中英语动词不定式专项语法讲解 一、动词不定式的用法 动词不定式的基本形式是 “ to+动词原形 ”，使用时有时可以不带 to。动词不定式没有人称和数的变化， 在句子中不能作谓语，但仍保留动词的特点，即可以有自己的宾语和状语。动词不定式同它的宾语或状语构成 不定式短语。如：① He wants to sit down. ②Let him have a rest . 动词不定式的否定形式是“ not+ 动词不定式”。如： Tell him not be late . 二、动词不定式的用法 动词不定式具有名词、形容词和副词的特征，因此在句中可以作主语、表语、宾语、补足语、定语、状语等。 初中要求掌握的动词不定式的句法作用包括作宾语、状语、宾语补足语。 1、不定式作主语 不定式作主语一般位于句首，谓语动词用单数。如： To learn English is very useful . 为了避免句子“头重脚轻”，往往用 it 代替不定式作形式主语，而将不定式放在后面作真正的主语。如： It ’ s very useful to learn English . 2、不定式作表语 动词不定式作表语，常说明主语的内容、性质、特征。如： My work is to care for the sick boy . 3、不定式作宾语 有两种情况：一种是及物动词后直接跟带 to 的不定式，另一种是 “及物动词 + 疑问词 +带 to 的不定式 ”。 如：① He promised to help me . ② He showed me how to use a computer . 注意：其后常跟动词不定式作宾语的动词（词组）有： want ， hope， begin ， learn， try ， decide， forget ， remember， like ， love， expect ， agree， refuse， wish ， plan ， afford ， choose， would like ， need， start 等。4、不定式作宾语补足语 常接不定式作宾语补足语的词有 tell ， ask， want ， teach， allow （允许）， promise ， order ， advise， expect， wish ， invite ， encourage（鼓励）等。如： They asked him to sing a song at the party . 5、不定式作定语 不定式作定语应放在被修饰词之后。如： I found a job to take care of an old man . 6、不定式作状语 (1) 不定式常在句中作目的状语。如：You should run quickly to catch the last bus . (2) 用在 too...to... 结构中作结果状语。如： He is too yong to go to school . (3) 跟在作表语的形容词或过去分词的后面，作原因状语。如： I ’ m sorry to hear that . 三、省略 to 的动词不定式的四种情况 1、在使役动词 have， make，let 后 如： I like him because he makes me laugh . 2、在感官动词 feel， hear，see， watch， notice， listen to， look at 之后。 如： I saw her leave half an hour ago. 3、 help 后的不定式可省略 to，也可以带上 to 。 如： He often helps me （ to） do housework . 助记： 以上动词可归纳为 “一感（ feel），二听（ listen to，hear），三让（ let，make， have），四看（ look at， see， watch， notice），半帮助（ help）（即在 help 后面作宾语补足语时， to 可有可无） ”。 4、在其他固定搭配中，如 “ had better do sth. “ why”,not do sth. ” , ” would rather do sth. than do sth. ”等 . 四、带疑问词的不定式短语 动词不定式前面可以带 疑问代词 what, which, who 或疑问副词 how, when, where, why 等。这种结构 起名词的作用，在句子里用作宾语、主语、表语等，或者单独使用。要注意的是，  why  后面的不定式不带  to。 如： 1.用作句子的成分。  1)I don  ’ t know what
