一、教学目标:
1.知识与技能:
1) 能掌握以下单词:allow, wrong,,midnight
能掌握以下短语:too much, allow sb to do sth, hang out, too many, get into a fight into, write him a letter, be good at, so that, on the phone
能掌握以下句型: What’s wrong/the matter/the trouble?
Why don’t you/Why not go to sleep earlier this evening?
You should call him up/ You could write him a letter.
2)能掌握情态动词并给出合理的建议;根据听力训练能掌握听力的技巧和方法;在情景教学中训练和练习学生的口语技能。
2. 过程与方法:Pairwork, Groupwork ,听前预测,导、学、展、练、评等
3.情感态度价值观:
通过共同探讨、解决各种烦恼和困惑,学会反思自己,体谅他人,树立合作精神,培养积极乐观的情感态度。

三、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Show pictures about health problems( has a fever/stomachache/toochache), and practice with the students like this:
A
A: What’s the matter/wrong with…?
B: He/She….
A: What should he/she do?
B: He/She should…
Step 2 1a Presentation
T: These are health problems .Today we will talk about some problems in our study and in our life.if you have problems, who will you talk to?think it over,(we should share problems with others,we shouldn’t run away from our problems.we should ask others for help,because two heads are better than one.why don’t you talk to your parents?Because they have lots of experience.Now today we are going to learn a new lesson unit4 why don’t you talk to your parents ?SectionA(1a-2c)
Show the picture of the textbook. Explain the picture with Ss:“What’s she doing? Is she happy? Why?”
T: What’s wrong with the girl?She has … Ask Ss to look through the problems in 1a and answer the question.
3. Have students talk about the five problems in pairs, try to understand them.practice four conversations like this.
① I have to study too much so I don’t get enough sleep.
② I have too much homework so I don’t have any free time to do things I like.
③ My parents don’t allow me to hang out with my friends.
④ I have too many after-school classes.
⑤ I got into a fight with my best friend.
