Today we’ll learn Unit 5. What were you doing when the rainstorm came? As you see in the title, we’ll learn something about the rainstorm. So, what is a rainstorm? Of course, it’s a kind of rain. But what kind of rain is a rainstorm on earth? Let’s have a look. 设计意图:结合标题中的关键词图片,吸引学生的兴趣,引出本单元有关讲述过去发生的事情的话题。 Step 2 Pre-listening Look and say 1. T: Now please look at this picture. There is a girl in it. Where is she? How do you know she is there? What’s she doing? What’s weather like in the picture? 2. T: There’s a boy in the picture. Where is he? What’s he doing? 3. T: Look! A woman is in the picture. Where is she? Is there anything on her head? What’s she doing? Is she happy? Have you ever had the same experience? 4. T: In this picture, a man seems to be running. Where is he? Why is he running? Can you guess his feeling then? 设计意图:通过师生问答,引导学生理解每一张图片的意义,在复习现在进行时的同时,逐步引出本单元运用过去进行时结构讲述过去发生的事情的功能话题。 Work on 1a Read and match T: Now look at these four statements.
