I Teaching aims:

(1).Make sure most of the students can read and understand the new words in this part.(visit ,Canada, summer, sit juice, soon, vacation, hard ,Europe, mountain, country)
(2)Review how to ask and express the weather and what people are doing
2. Ability goals:
(1) Make sure most of the students can read and write postcards
(2.)most students can use the reading skills: skimming,scanning
3. Emotional goals:
All the students can know how to greet in a postcard, how to communicate with a postcard.

Make sure most of the students can use Present Progressive Tense to express what they are doing.

Step1. Warming up and lead in
1.talk about the weather,talk about DingTao
2.Show some pictures in the ppt, Make a revision about how to ask and answer the weather and what people are doing like this:
T: How is the weather today? S:It’s sunny/cloudy…..
T:what’s she/he doing ? what are they doing ? S:She is
3. Play a guessing game

Match each postcard below with the correct picture in 2a
