教 学 设 计
我所教授的这节课是八下unit 8Section B的2b-3b 部分.它的教学重点是用现在完成时来谈论最近发生的事件或经历。本部分的教学难点是引导学生在阅读的过程中能借助关键信息对文本大意进行归纳或概述,由于该部分的阅读文本涉及到美国的乡村音乐,对于中国初中学生而言可能并不熟悉,因此,我在教学时适当增加相关的文化背景知识介绍,也播放一两首经典的乡村音乐歌曲或音乐视频,供学生体验欣赏,希望可以增加他们的文化积累,开阔视野,有效地调动学生学习英语的兴趣。以下是我的教学设计:
Ⅰwarm up
T: (Today, we’re going to find and feel the magic of music, do you want to go with me? First, enjoy the music first. ) play the video. Then talk about the three kinds of music together with students, ask them about their feeling about different kinds of music.
Ⅱpre-reading
T: (Just guess, what kind of music are we going to talk about?) lead them to see the title and picture, find the answer: country music.
Ⅲ while-reading
find the main idea of each paragraph.
Are you interested in how the country music song changed Sarah’s life? Let’s find the answer in para1.
Students answer the questions . Teacher explains some new words or phrases then the students an tell the story together with their partner with the help of key words.
Enjoy the song country road again, then a sentence ”As a fan of country music, Sarah has read a lot and done some research on it ”.

Students read the text by themselves, then find the answer of questions. Teacher checks the answers, ask the students to answer the questions in their own words after thinking.
A competition: Who knows the most about country music? Practice in group of four, then in the whole class.
Ⅳ after-reading
Enjoy a song by Garth Brooks, then tell the importance of music, encourage them to take up a hobby, maybe it will open up your mind and make life better, so enjoy music, enjoy life.
Lead them to write a composition to introduce their favorite song. First share their feeling in groups, then in front of the class.
Ⅴ Homework:
Which kind of music / musician / song mentioned in this class are you interested in? Please do some research on it, and write it down, let’s share them in class tomorrow. I’m
