IV. Teaching process:
Step 1 Lead-in
Show some pictures about different kinds of milk shakes,then ask questions to lead in our task :How do we make a banana milk shake ?
Questions:
1.What’s it?
2.What kind of milk do you like best? / How often do you drink it?
(To make students be interested in making a milk shake)
Step 2 Show the learning aims .Students read the knowledge objects together.
(Make sure they know what we will learn in this class.)
Step 3 check the new words and expressions what they’ve previewed
Read the new words and expressions together and correct something wrong .
Read the English words and Chinese meaning together again
Ask students to remember them in 2 minutes,check in pairs.
Check the words one by one.
(To lay the foundation for later learning)
Step 4 1a
1.1a:Write these words in the blanks in the following picture by themselves,then check the answers,after that read the expressions together.
2.Read and repeat the new expressions“ peel、cut up、put… in 、pour…into、 turn on”with pictures:.
3.Check them.
