Whats your name Where are you from How old are you Whats your job Whats your hobby Step 2：Pre－reading 1．Ask students to make name cards for themselves. 2．Ask students to exchange their name cards and introduce other students.Show the important sentence structures on the screen. This is my friend. Her/His name is… She/He is from… She/He is… She/He is…years old. Her/His best friend is… … 3．Show two pictures about Liu Yang and David Beckham to students.Ask students to introduce them.And introduce the first name and the last name to them. 4．Introduce some students in the class and ask students to guess who they are. 5．Ask students to read the sentences in Activity 1 and put them in the correct order. a)Nice to meet you too.Where are you from b)Hello，my name is…Whats your name c)Im from…too. d)Nice to meet you，…My name is… e)Im from… 6．Ask students to share their opinions.Write some on the blackboard.Then check.
