Unit 6 I’m going to study computer science. 单元 学情 分析 八年级的学生正处于青春叛逆期，思维敏捷，想法独特，经过一年的英语熏陶，有了一定的学习方法和知识沉淀。本单元以“What do you want to be when you grow up?”引出话题，谈论人们将要做什么，使学生们学会如何了解或表述将来的一种状态，正确使用be going to do 结构。重点掌握和运用“What do you want to be when you grow up?” “How are you going to do that?及其答语和相关的词汇、句型。Section A围绕单元主题life goals(生活目标)，学生将学习更多有关职业的英语单词的同时，理解和运用一般将来时be going to…谈论未来职业目标以及达成目标的方法与途径。Section B主要是以阅读和写作为主，通过学习关于新年计划的文章，让学生了解什么事新年计划和不同种类的新年计划，以及关于制定新年计划的观点，学会养成良好的习惯，从而制定合理的人生规划。 单元 教学 目标 知识目标和技能目标： 1.熟练运用以下单词 : computer programmer,cook,doctor, engineer, violinist,driver, be sure about, make sure,grow up. 2.掌握以下句型：---- What do you want to be when you grow up? ---- I want to be… 3.用一般将来时态谈论理想工作和表达将要做的事情。 4.能阅读关于新年计划方面的文章，学会养成良好的习惯，从而制定合理的人生规划。 5.培养学生的阅读能力，提高辨别是非的能力。 情感态度与价值观: 引导学生树立健康积极的生活目标和正确的择业观，并通过努力实现自己的理想。 重点 难点 1.学习一般将来时态的构成方式。 2. 掌握重点句型:--How are you going to do that? --I’m going to… 3.学会谈论话题：Talk about future intentions. 1.帮助学生在语境中正确运用一般将来时be going to…, 2. 掌握阅读技巧，提高阅读能力和水平。 3.通过书面表达的形式，描述自己的未来计划。 教学过程 Step Ⅰ. Lead-in 1. 介绍自己小时候想要从事的职业，由此归纳出以前所学过的一些职业的英语表达方式：teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, runner, actor, actress 2. 询问学生们想要从事的职业，从而引出句型： ─What do you want to be when you grow up? ─I want to be a basketball player. 3. 学生们看幻灯片，引导学生们进行问答：自己将来所喜欢的职业。 Step Ⅱ. Presentation 1. 播放幻灯片，展示一些职业的图片，来引导学生们学习一些新的职业名词： computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist,… 2. 让学生们看大屏幕来学习记忆这些生词。 3. Tell Ss to rank them [1-12]. 1 is most interesting, 12 is least interesting. 4. Try to remember the new words. Step Ⅲ. Game 1. Show some pictures in the big screen. 2. Let Ss guess what he/she does. 3. Let Ss try their best to guess the job. See which group is the best. Step Ⅳ. Listening：work on 1b. 1. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and fill in the blanks. 2. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. 3.Play the recording again. Ss listen and match the jobs with activities. Step Ⅴ. Pair wo
