一、教学目标

When something touches this plants leaves,they close up tightly.
When it comes to laughing,this tree is really funny.

三、教学过程
Step?1. Leading-in
Show the title of the text directly,Lesson11 Amazing Plants,we are going to learn about four amazing plants .
Step?2. Presentation
Show a picture of a line of egrets in the sky (一行白鹭上青天),use the poem to show egrets.Then show another picture of a plant’s flowers which look like flying egrets.
Let’s continue,show a moving picture of a plant(含羞草),When something touches this plants leaves,they close up tightly. What is the opposite of “close up”? Yes ,it’s “open up”.After a few minutes ,the leaves open up again ,this plant is fun for small children to play with.
Next ,when you see the picture of YuYunpeng you may think that I made a mistake .In fact ,no .Let see together.What is the relationship between these picture?YuYunpeng is an comedian ,he can make us laugh by a cross talk.When it comes to laughing ,I think of the plant.Because the fruit of the tree has a hole in it .If the wind blows ,the amazing tree laughs. Ha,ha,ha !Now ,you understand.
At last ,this is a fossil of dinosaur .This plant ,like most plants ,it has roots.But it only has two leaves and a stem .The two leaves continue to grow for its whole life.This plant can live as long as 1500 years,so we call it a living fossil .

Close your eyes and imagine that there are many flowers ,some can fly ,some can laugh ,some can be shy ,some can be very old .
