Warming up Watch a video about a weather report and let Ss answer “What does the video talk about?”. Step 2. Brainstorm Let Ss say what kind of weather they know. Step 3. Pre-listening Use different types to guess the words about weather. Teach the words, then let Ss read and repeat them. Game: match the poems with the weather words.(There are different weather words in these poems.) Show the pictures of different places. Teach the new words. Let Ss read and repeat them. Step 4. While-listening Listen and write the names in the boxes above. Listen and summarize the structure to talk about weather. Step 5. Post-listening Use the structure to talk about weather with their partners. Step 6. Pre-listening Look at the picture and answer the weather and then say what is the man doing in the picture to lead in the listening. Look at the picture and let Ss guess what they are doing on a sunny day. Step 7. While-listening Listen and number the pictures. Listen again. Match the names with the pictures. Step 8.
